2. What we collect
Information you give us: your name, email address and phone number when you place an order, book an appointment, create an account or send us a message; your ring size and order preferences; payment receipts you upload; and the content of your messages. If you create an account, we store your password in encrypted (hashed) form only. Information collected automatically: basic technical data such as your browser type and IP address, which our hosting provider records for security and to keep the website running.
3. How we use it
To process and prepare your orders, confirm payments and arrange your collection appointment; to schedule in-person and video viewings; to reply to your enquiries; to manage your account and wishlist; to keep records required by law, such as invoices; and to protect the website against fraud and misuse. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.
4. Legal basis
We process your information to perform our agreement with you (your order or appointment), to meet our legal obligations, with your consent where you give it, and for our legitimate interest in running and securing our business, in line with Jordan's Personal Data Protection Law.
5. Who we share it with
Only with service providers who help us run the website and our business, under appropriate confidentiality: our website host and database provider (Vercel and Prisma), and our bank or payment provider when you pay by CliQ or transfer. Some of these providers store data on servers outside Jordan, including in the United States. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights.
6. How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for as long as required by Jordanian accounting and tax rules. Appointment records and messages are kept for up to 2 years. Account information is kept until you ask us to delete your account. Payment receipts are deleted once no longer needed for our records.
7. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, to withdraw consent, or to object to how we use it. Email inquiries@almaslabdiamonds.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first, and we may keep information we are legally required to retain.
8. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and restricted, admin-only access to payment receipts and order details. No system is completely secure, so please keep your account password private.
9. Children
Our website is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We may update this policy. The current version, with its date, is always published on this page.
